Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn has been an actress for over 20 years. Her most well-known character was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award to recognize Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. She also played Martha Bullock in Deadwood and Jean Ward on The Practice. Born in Sante Fe, New Mexico in the year 1968, Anna Gunn fell in love with the art of acting at Preparatory School before her family moved to Ohio at the end of the 1970's. She went to Northwestern University to study theatre and also spent time at the British American Drama Academy. Anna began her career working in the Chicago area theatres for a short time. Then she moved to TV and film. Anna's first major part was Arden, in Down the Shore. She played in 29 episodes. At the beginning of 1990, she appeared as a regular actor in both film and TV like Seinfeld as well as NYPD Blue. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood for two seasons. In 2008, she was picked in the role of Skyler on Breaking Bad. Sully as well as Deadwood were also an integral part of her professional career. Gunn was also in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. The actress, in 2022, also appeared in a series of audio-play podcast titled"Numbered Days..
