Taylor-Swift
Taylor Swift, in full Taylor Alison Swift (born December 13 1989 West Reading Pennsylvania U.S.) American pop and country musician and singer whose tales of youthful heartache earned her widespread success in the early 20th century. Swift discovered a love for music from a young age and she progressed quickly through roles in the children's theater until her first performance before an audience of tens of thousands. She was age 11 when she performed The Star-Spangled Banner before a Philadelphia 76ers basketball match and the following year she took up guitar and began to write songs. Swift was a singer who took ideas from Shania's music and her band the Dixie Chicks now known as The Chicks in the world of music from the country genre, created the songs of her own to convey her feelings of alienation. Swift's parents moved her from Pennsylvania to Tennessee at 13 after selling their Pennsylvania farm. It enabled Swift to be more active in looking for labels to promote the country genre in Nashville.
